I live in St. Paul with my husband, Mark. We have been married for 32 years and have four children. Daniel works in Halsey for the Forestry Service. He is also a Fire Fighter and has been fighting prairie fires and forest fires the last three summers. Madison lives with us and was working at a sports bar until everything got shut down. She still keeps busy working on a ranch taking care of the horses and haying. She has an adorable dog named Gator that she rescued when she was in Louisiana a few years ago. (Gator keeps our household lively!!) Megan is studying to be a Special Education teacher at Chadron State College and also works full-time at a pharmacy. Delaney graduated from St. Paul High School in 2018 and is currently working at Matelyn. She has her CNA certificate and likes working with the older residents at Matelyn. The activities at our house include: hunting, fishing, trap shooting, music, church activities, camping, and running a fire-work stand. I love spending time in the mountains and taking pictures of the scenery, wildlife and wild flowers. I also enjoy trying to grow flowers at my house, but it's taking me a lot of years of trial and error to get anything to grow. When time allows, you can find me curled up with a good book or watching a funny movie. As most of my students can tell you, I love chocolate!
Once upon a time, I taught a first/second grade combination classroom in Elba. I also owned and ran my own preschool for several years after we moved to St. Paul. When I first came to Centura, I was substitute teaching a lot. My first year here, I taught second grade, and this will be my eleventh year in third grade. I really enjoy the students and people here! Centura is a great place to work!
